Pulsar XP50 Trail _ Sighting in every time b4 going out!!

#1. I can tell you I take excellent care of all my equipment!

A. The objective lens has been replaced, which has resolved the POI issue
B. The unit was tested on our recoil simulator for POI shift - Passed.
C. The unit was placed in our freezer for POI shift in extreme weather temperatures - Passed
D. The plastic screen frame had melted. This happens when magnified sunlight beams through the ocular lens onto the frame , heating it up and melting it. The frame has been replaced with a metal piece to ensure it doesn’t happen again

And there you have it - Now i know why it would never hold POI. My buddy will be sending his scope in after the season is done, he too sights his XP50 Trail in every time before night hunting. He tells me he needs to adjust either windage or elevation every time but never both at the same time.

DU,
Heading out Friday night, will report back next week.

Current Coyote total - 125

Made it out Friday night.

Didn’t take the XP50 Trail, used the IR Hunter Mark3 60mm.

I sure do like my Pulsar Accolade Binos for scanning;-)

Currently at 129 Coyotes.

will pulsar help at all with a melted screen if it's out of the 5 year warranty? i've heard good things about their customer service but idk

Little bit late for this answer, but try removing the battery after your done with scope. I have an armasight zues that you can not leave the battery in after you are done with it. Maybe can help someone later on.
