I just made 2 stands right after dark, almost got a double on the first and shot two on the second stand, but had to walk up on the second as he wouldn't get closer than about 350. I'm not sure why but sometimes they'll stick around but not come in. A lot of times you can walk right towards them. Luckily for me the moon wasn't up yet and the snow had mostly disappeared so I was pretty quiet.
Bonus footage, last night went out with a buddy and watched 3 coyotes at 170 yards for several minutes while he tried different sounds on them. They were stuffed full of dead cow and finally one started in but veered off, finally shot one at 260 just before it went over a ridge to expire. Actually when they were together I was hoping for a twofer lol.
