Jackson wouldn't have a problem being left off currency from a central bank. I guess Harriet Tubman is a reasonable choice. It's just annoying that we have to scramble around and find some deserving women to put on money. Of course, we'll be needing some gay and transgender folks on the bills soon enough.

That is where it is heading they will not stop where they are at now ....BTW I have never used an ATM believe it or not ....I have no checking account and never did in my whole life....deal in cash only take out of the bank to pay my bills once a month and tell them how I want it ...I am serious that is just the way I live....LOL.........Trapperdoc

But.. They are talking about putting the face of a person that violated property rights, the law, and stole from people.
Slavery may have been abolished, but that doesn't change the fact that she was violating the law of the time.
Are we going to put cliven Bundy on the bill next?
While I don't disagree with what she did, it was against the law and not nearly as impact full as Jackson on our country.
Doesn't the government have better things to do? Couldn't they spend this time, energy, and money on maybe cleaning up the corruption? The waste, and abuses? Since it's treasury, spend the money figuring out where the IRS lost money. Maybe look into the Government contracts they are paying out, and ensure they are meeting the laws and regulations currently in place.
