Question about Forster Co-Ax press?

I got myself a new Forster Co-Ax press, and I know I read somewhere that you had to use the Forster Die locking rings on all your dies with this press, except I can't remember where I saw that.

Is this true? I can certainly order a bunch of locking rings to use on all my non-Forster dies, but certainly don't want to if it isn't necessary. Thanks for the help in advance.

I use a Forster Co-Ax and interchange my Lee dies with it and keep the Lee nuts... I just have to be careful that they don't get turned as I'm putting them in the slot..Once you get them adjusted for the press, be sure they don't get turned...

When I take them back to my Lee press, I have to re-adjust them.. The Lee rings/nuts are just not as positive as the Forsters...

The same holds true for my Redding and RCBS dies..

I've got die sets from RCBS, Redding, Lyman, and Hornady. A couple sets from RCBS won't fit the slot, too thick. Die lock rings that are hex shaped will go into the slot but don't fit well. Hornady's lock rings with the flats on each side will go into the slot but again don't fit as well. It just depends on your dies lock rings as the lock rings do vary in shape and thickness. I bought the Forster Co-Ax die lock ring pack of 12 and they provide a better fit and alignment to the Co-Ax press. Sinclair makes some stainless lock rings that will fit the Co-Ax press.
