Question on foxpro???

Alright guys, earlier this year my dad bought me a foxpro for my birthday. It comes with 50 sounds but many of the sounds are useless to me because i either do not hunt those species or am not allowed to use electronic calls. My question is, Is it possible for me to send my call back and get those sounds replaced with predator calls. I know i can pick 16 sounds for 20 or 25 bucks but i was just wondering if i could replace the sounds already there for less money???

It sounds like you have an FX5. You could sent it in, and we could reprogram it for you. The cost would be 25.00 to change or add 16 sounds, plus return freight. This is the same price if you want just one sound changed, or 16 sounds changed. What I would suggest is to download 16 sounds from our website for the $25.00. This will save you time, and shipping expenses back and forth. You could then take the sounds off of your FX5 that you don't need, and store them in your computer for possible later use (you may not need them now, but you may in the future). Let me know if you have any other questions.
 
Not to take any business away from Foxpro, but why not locate the sounds yourself and program them? The FX5 is capable of hooking up to your pc and uploading them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Thanks for the info, i guess my main question is answered. Ill have to think about adding the 16 sounds when i get some money.
Not sure i quite understand, being as those sounds that came with it were already paid for so not sure why it would cost more to replace those but... i guess its just how it works. Every business has to make money somehow, right?
But you do make a bomb call, and i LOVE it!!

When purchasing units from dealers such as Cabelas or Bass Pro, their units come programmed with the sounds that they have selected. When you purchase units directly from us or from one of our Platinum dealers, you then get to choose the sounds of your choice. It is one of the advantages of buying from one of our Platinum dealers. Alot of the dealers out there do not want to hassle with programming sounds into units, so they choose not to be Platinum dealers. Hope this helps, and glad that you like the unit. My turn,,,,,I got an FX3 last winter from APC and was thinking about sending it in to get the upgrade. When you do that, does Foxpro load it up with sounds or do I have to buy all the extra sounds????? Also how long do it take to get the call back to me??

When you send it in for the FX5 upgrade, you get to select an additional 18 sounds for your unit at no charge. This will then get you 50 sounds on your unit. If you want more than 50, then you have to purchase them. When you purchase a new FX5, they come standard with 50 sounds. Turnaround time is only a few days.
