Shanedogg, Have you tried the the Rem HD Ts? I just thought they patterned a lot better and hit harder than dead coyote. I shoot a 30 in Super Black Eagle 3 1/2 Rem. T.
You have got to do what you have confidence in, I have no problem with that.
As far as 4 buck working better for you that is cool. But I have read threads that say the exact opposite form this one, so the jury is still out, that is the fun of it. GC has proven that Shot guns are limited in range for sure, but I have seen coyotes shot with 4 buck at reasonable ranges keep going and requiring 3 shots to kill or never stop. With a shot gun you just can not place your shot. That is why I like the more pellet theory.
I don't kill as many coyotes as a lot of guys her but I have seen and killed coyotes out to 65 yards with the HD #T and they have all been DRT.
I really don't like 00 buck. at long range at all. It seems that guys think they can shot them out to 100 yards. the limited pellets cause the means you have to rely on the luck pellet phenomenon.
Time will tell, and it will be interesting to see as we gain more knowledge, you guys could be right, and I respect your opinions.
