Gotta be a heavy sucker. As mentioned, hydro dip it in wood pattern. Use a coyote tan or light brown undercoat and it would look real and weight the same as a standard AR. You could do the whole gun if you wanted to.

I have one in the gray, black and white laminate from RRA. I wanted something different and didnt know if I would like it, but I do. A lot of people have asked where I got it from. It is a little heavier, but not bad, and feels good. The one I have has a very comfortable grip and a good cheek weld in the stock.

Not for me by a long shot and I love pretty wood on a rifle. It just looks wrong on an AR to my eye anyway.
