r15 collapsible stock

I got a r15 .204,non- collapsable stock. I'm wanting a collapsable stock in the max-1 camo. I heard remington doesn't sell them, but bushmaster does. Does anybody know if this is true? I know I could buy a aftermarket one and have it dipped, but that would be a pain. Also,do the collapsable stocks fit on the r 15's that didn't come with them? Thanks guys.

If i remember right the part no. is 9349119c or m and yes they do simple tube change. You can call them they dont always have it in stock

it looks like that part number is for the a-2 buttstock...

Just a heads up as mentioned already you will have to change the buffer tube, and you will also need to buy a new buffer spring a buffer, the a2 style spring & buffer won't work with the collapsable tube.

Hey all. I also just got a R-15 MAX 1 Camo in .223. I would like to order a collapsible stock. This is my first rifle on the AR plat form. I assume I can order the same parts from bushmaster and it will work out.

Any input will be great!!

Well, if you get the package and all it has is a buffer tube and the stock, it's not going to go together and work.

The buffer and spring are different between an A2 and a CAR.

Hopefully what they're telling you is that it includes everything needed.

Never mind. I figured getting anything across the boarder would have been a MAJOR pain. I went down to the local shop and got a black 6 position stock. Looks great with the PEPR mount I have holding my coyote special.
