Rabbit decoy?

In my experience a decoy decreases your chances of being busted because it diverts attention away from you. I have even used a chuckar wing tied to a stake as a decoy. It worked great!

I have used the Mojo Critter with success and so has my hunting buddy. It is remarkable how the coyotes glue their eyes to the Critter and not look for you.

Also, I have a quiver Rabbit, but so far the Mojo gets all the use. Next time I'm in a more dense area i'll try the quiver......

Any decoys that are small, silent and have good movement work wonders on your success. Once a coyote or bobcat visually locks in on the decoy, you can stop calling and coaxing and let the decoy do it's job.

The Predator Pursuit series of videos does an excellent job and demonstrating this. They are an advertiser on PM...check them out.

I just bought a Mojo Critter. Talk about hard to find! They are sold out, about everywhere. I did end up finding one on Amazon.com. Looking forward to see how it works. I was going to get the Jack in the box, Foxpro. I heard that they are comming out with different critters to use. Should be pretty neat!

Here is my sophisticated one that I like to show off.

That thing would give my youngest daughter nightmares! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I bet it's effective in the slightest breeze.

I've tried the deer tail tied to a bush, but it takes a lot of wind to move it. I do have a pair of grouse wings tied to about 2 feet of string and an alligator clip on the end that I just clip to a bush about 20 yards in front of me. I also have an eagle wing feather hooked up the same way, but hate to use it in some areas, as the game wardens take a dim view of it. I suppose goose or turkey wing feathers would work just as well.
