Range finder is getting sticky

I have an old Bushnell Yardage Pro 450 and its getting "sticky" feeling on the outside. Can I clean it with anything? It's got leaves and junk all over the outside of it. Works just fine, just knarly touching it.

That happens with some of the rubber coatings. Somewhat common in the DuraTouch rifles stocks and such.

The bad news is, I don't think you can clean it nor reverse it. Maybe stuff it in a neoprene sleeve??

Its an old unit but works great for bowhunting. I guess the plus is you probably won't drop it. I've seen some scopes and cheap red dots get sticky like this before. Maybe wrap in with some camo tape or something??

Makes you feel like you need to wash your hands after touching it. But it still works good so I'll just live with it. Yuk!
