RCBS 5-0-5 scales

I've been using an automatic powder dispenser lately and have t had much use for a beam scale.

I just picked these up off the campfire and they came with 0 instructions.

Could someone explain how to zero this thing?

Really quite simple operation. I've owned a 505 for 34 years and have recently started thinking about replacing it with the RCBS powder dispenser.

But I'll still keep that 505, it hasn't been to bad.

Presuming the OP has never used a beam scale, there is one more step you left out:

Place the measuring pan on the scale BEFORE you zero both adjustments to get an accurate tare when weighing powder.

I got it thanks guys. I've used beam scales before. I've got another one that I use. I just wasn't sure about how to zero this one.
