RCBS case trimmer won't work?

I borrowed my buddies RCBS power trimmer to do my 223 brass last week. When I was done I took it back to his house. He had more brass for me to prep so I took it right back home with me. Now I can't get it to turn on. It won't do anything. There is power at the outlet. Does anyone know if there is a fuse inside or any small part that may have come loose?
Thanks for any help,
Jason

I will try and remember to look at mine tonight. In the meantime you might call RCBS customer service or look at their website. I believe you can download manuals and they might show you something. RCBS and other gun websites are blocked at work or I'd look for you.

I'm not familiar with the RCBS power trimmer, but if it has the switch in the power cord, I'd check that. The inline switches go out pretty easily from what I've seen.

I looked at their manuals. I couldn't find a thing about a circuit breaker or a fuse in any of them. No schematic, either.

I tried but I ain't got much to work with to make a recommendation. Personally, I'd unplug it, then try turning the motor over by hand to make sure it's not jammed by something. That's a longshot, though.

Thanks for the replys. I will have to call RCBS. The motor turns fine by hand. I think it must be something in the switch where the handle is supposed to turn it on.

One thing for sure is that RCBS will take care of your problem. It will probably be required to send the trimmer back to RCBS, but you'll have an operational trimmer when it's returned. RCBS customer service rivals Leupold's great service.

I have the same trimmer and mine quit working once right after I bought it. There is a small switch that is activated by the handle mine broke off I called RCBS and they sent me a new motor and mounting plate. The switch has the orange dot.

Yeah, take a look at the switch and see if that actuator tab got mangled or bent. It's designed to puch the orange follower up into the switch body and close the circuit. If the tab's bent, it won't push up on the button enough to work.
