I don't know if it is against the rules here to talk about a sale at a business, but the RCBS Chargemaster 1500 is on sale now at Natchez SS for $289. Click Here
$373 at Amazon
Midway (out of stock)
$364 at Cabelas

I like mine so well I will buy another one the day mine breaks.

Cabelas had a 1 day special last week on the Chargemaster that was $75 off so it was $289 that day and with my $29 in Cabelas points I had I got it for $260 which made me very happy.

And I'll be sending in the $50 rebate so after all is said and done it will only cost me about $210.

I loved mine until this weekend when the keypad quit working and the scale won't exit calibration mode. I'm moving on to the PACT model that is cheaper, American made and comes with a lifetime warranty. The only help I got from RCBS was "go buy a new one"

I looked at the PACT, but after seeing the reviews for it vs. the reviews for the RCBS, especially when dealing with CS, it was a no brainer IMO and I waited for a great deal on the RCBS.

For your sake I hope yours lasts forever but if it fails as quickly as mine did, RCBS will be of no help to you. I originally went with the RCBS based on reviews as well and I absolutely loved it while it worked. I just find a $350 item should come with a better warranty with such a common known issue. I've been researching my options again now that I'm back in the market and the latest version of the PACT model is considerably faster than the RCBS and apparently more consistent. Not that I had real consistency issues with my rcbs though. I guess I'm basically turning to PACT Based on the good recent reviews as of late, the cheaper price, the lifetime warranty and being made in America rather than China .

It would be interesting to know how many years of service, and at what kind of volume for those years, some of the more experienced reloaders have been getting out of their RCBS Chargemaster.

Chime on in guys!

I'm not even saying it's a bad unit, I absolutely loved mine. I've convinced a few buddies to even buy them in the past (which I now regret after dealing with their customer service)... My problem is RCBS put out many defective units , they are aware of these units and fail to make the situation right with the people that got stuck with those defective units. They claim the issue has been resolved on the new units. I certainly won't be giving that company another of my hard earned dollars though. There's plenty of reputable companies in this industry that stand behind their products that I don't need to continue business with RCBS

The fact that their competition sells a unit that out performs there's at a cheaper price, made in America rather than China and comes with a lifetime warranty rather than 1 year tells me a lot about how they view their products and customers
