RCBS Hand Primer

I wish I had taken care of this a couple of months ago cause I am in a loading frenzy right now, working up a load for the new AR I just took delivery of. It doesn't do it at all when I load .243, I guess cause of the larger surface area of the .243 primer, just does it on .223. I'm using Winchester and Remington small rifle primers, does it on both. Wish I could find some CCI. Still cant make up my mind which tool to try. See miner gripes on all of them. Wish I still had my old original RCBS hand primer. It was perfect. Gonna be interesting to see what RCBS does when I send this one back in.

igor,
I almost guarantee they will send you a new one no charge..I bought my RockChucker in 1965. Been using it ever since. It had the old Green bicycle type handle bar grip on the handle.
I told the guy I talked to that I bought it in 1965 and I asked them If I could get one with the round ball on the end cause in my old age that other one was bothering my palm. I said what would it cost me....The guy said I'll send you one no charge....In about 10 days I got the new handle with the black ball on the end. RCBS is absolutely great....

Nope, no pain in the butt for me.
I used 2 Lee Auto Primes for several thousand rounds until both of them finally broke. They did a great job.

I can't say a single bad thing about them.
When I got tired of things breaking and bought the Sinclair primer tool, I boxed all of my Lee stuff up and sent it to a good friend here on PM that likes the Lee stuff as much as I did, and all of my extra parts will keep his Lee stuff going for a long time.

The Sinclair is fast enough for me.
