I was wondering what you guys thought of this deluxe kit that has everything in one box. I'm looking at getting into my own reloading setup so I dont have to rely on my friend being home to do load development with his equipment. Please inform me on what I should look for if this kit doesn't "measure" up to experienced reloaders preferences. Listed below are all the components in the deluxe kit from Cabelas website: Rock Chucker Supreme Press, Charge Master 1500 Powder Dispenser/Digital Scale Combo, Trim Mate Case Prep Center, Trim Pro Case Trimmer, Universal Hand Priming Tool, Speer No. 14 Reloading Manual, Quick-Change Funnel Kit, Precisioneered Handloading DVD, 4-oz. Case Slick Spray Lube, Universal Case Loading Block and Die Lock Ring Wrench.

i bought one some years ago and never had a problem with it. the digital measure is nice, but if you know that you are going to be into reloading for the long run i would buy the charge master. i would also look into buying a couple of reloading manuals. overall i love mine

IMO, that an EXCELLENT choice for starting out and even sticking with in the future. The reason, you won't have to rebuy everything like I did and ended up with a Rock Chucker in the end. There are obviously some upgrades and things to improve your set-up, but that press will give you many many years of happiness and success in reloading.

Good start, everything is there that you will need. I saw in Mid-South their complete kit is under $60. So the color is yellow, no one else knows.

The RCBS kit is a great way to get started. I think instead of getting the Chargemaster first, I would get a few more reloading manuals and a case trimmer and case tumbler or vibrator. I have a Chargemaster 1500 combo and love it but the other items will serve you better at first. Then you can get the chargemaster.

Just my $0.02.

If I am right the Chargemaster is included in this kit.

I think you will be happy with this kit, down the line you can get a few extra items to add to this setup. I added the power head to my case trimmer, than a Uni-flow powder dispenser for most of my pistol loads, a tumbler and so on. I got a digital caliper when I started out for all my measurments. Good luck----Riflemann

I the trim mate and chargemaster and both those items are worth their weight in gold!

As previously said you can't go wrong with this kit. In time you will add more, "goodies". Some of the stuff will be somewhat costly but you will probably never have to replace them. Good Luck. I still remember the first deer I got with my first reloaded bullet. Felt pretty good.

If you can afford the kit I'd go for it. I started with the lesser RCBS Rock Chucker kit that came with the Uniflow measure, it worked but then later on I bought the Chargemaster, a trimmer, and a prep center....I wish they had offered it all in one kit like that when I bought mine I would have save some $$ over buying it all separate like I did.

Midway has the more basic Rock Chucker kit on sale right now for less than $300. Pretty good deal. Other accessories could come later as the budget allows.
