Appreciate you sharing the video. I've been looking into picking up a PIG Saddle and a tripod, but with all the subtle little differences between tripod types and lines, I've gotten a good bit turned around.
Right now, the prevailing wisdom I've run into is to find a Manfrotto 055x or the like used on eBay, but that still leaves me wondering about ball heads and the like.
And then there's the whole comparison to the cheaper Slik tripods...
