Realtree 10/22 with laser?

Saw a realtree camo'd (complete gun) Ruger 10/22 with a laser built into the fore end at the gun shop today. The laser was activated by a button on the left side of the fore end. The shop owner said it was a limited run by Ruger and the 1 wholesaler bought the entire supply of them.

Has anyone else seen one? Anyone have one?

Looked like a slick unit. Would be great for coon hunting.

These have been out a couple years. Check on gun broker and you will find these listed there.

They would work great for coon hunting.....as long as you don't get caught by the DNR that is.

DNR is not a problem here. Lasers are legal (considered lights) as long as you are using dogs here in Iowa.

Chris, Why not build your own 10/22 with a laser??? I don't know what Ruger is adding to the price of theirs, but you can buy those early universal lasers fairly cheap now...

Mine is a little more tricked out with a carbon fiber barrel, etc, but I added one of those cheap, early laser sights that first came out several years ago by anchoring it in the composite stock and attaching the activation switch on the forearm...

Works great for those pesky critters that try to steal my Koi out of my backyard fish pond.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
