The speed the rifle is coming back at ya.
Because according to Newtonian Law every action has an equile and opposite reaction, and the differances in Mass between the ejectia (bullet) and the rifle the spped s will be differant. Other wise you might find a rifle that would "knock you on your butt" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif when fired instead of just hearing about them
 
This bears out what I experienced shooting a Ruger .338 Win Mag...in a rifle of good weight, it is one of the best calibers in the world.
