Recommendations for a SIMPLE, LOUD caller………

I’d like to try an electronic caller. I’m not one that enjoys endless options nor do I want it to be complicated. I do not use my cell phone much, in fact about half the time I don’t even carry it with me. What I’m after is clear sound and volume. Coyotes are the quarry.

I currently have a foxpro inferno then purchased an external speaker for added volume on windy days. Im roughly $300 in that set up and its louder than my buddies x24 foxpro however its not as clear when maxed out

In my opinion sound travels a long way so invest your money in sounds I like the mfk sounds on a Foxpro. Unless you're calling thick Timber and tree lines i dont think volume is as important as setup

Krakatoa is pretty simple and really loud. Really loud. I haven't used mine for a few years now. But for windy, open country, it gets the sound "out there".

Wildlife Tech Laut, simple remote, clear sound and loud. Personally I think loud is over rated but you can always turn it down.

Like most everything else, I suppose you get what you pay for. The prices on the calls you guys recommend are a bit of a shock. I borrowed an inexpensive Icotec, new cost I believe was well under $100. Very rough sounding when the volume was turned up and it was not very loud.

If you can find a Krakatoa in good shape I’d snag it. They’ve been floating around on Facebook lately but it’s hard to trust people nowdays when buying stuff like that. I still run a couple of CS24C callers, which I’ve always like for simplicity, except when loading new sounds… that’s a pain in the ass. I’m due for a new caller myself but won’t pull trigger till next year probly….unless the civil war breaks out between now and then.

I think you need to pay extra for loud. When you amplify sound you need better speakers to keep the sound clear. A lot of callers cranking the sound up to max can create aberrations even i can hear

I was going to suggest diaphragm calls or hand calls myself. But the OP did say electronic call.

There was a FoxPro Fusion in the classifieds here for $250 a day or two ago. I have my Fusion still as my backup caller. I NEVER felt that it wasn’t loud enough. For lots of dead critters, it was the last thing they heard!
