Recommendations for predator hunting pants?

I’m looking to purchase some new pants to wear for calling. Mostly during the winter times here in Kansas. I’ve alwahs liked the cabelas wooltimate line, but I’m curious what everyone else prefers? I’d like something that’s somewhat warm or has a layer of lining, but I can always layer under it if needed. Anyways...looking forward to suggestions! Thanks.

I got some used on here, they are a midway brand and I love them. I bought them when I hunted in WY. I mean Jan -10 setting in snow and stayed dry and warm. I would check into Midway when you are looking.

I buy surplus German grey wool army pants, they are heavy weight wool, grey in color and wear like iron. I layer them with different weight longjons depending on the condition. Warmer winter conditions I have some polar fleece pants. I have a light weight white cover pants and jacket for snow conditions. If no snow the grey blends well with the ground cover.

There are endless choices from good modern fabrics to good old wool which I prefer.
Filson has about the best wool or various others.
Big Bill 234MER are good at a lower cost.

I have a pair of the Cabelas Outfitter berber camo pants that work well, they are warm and quiet. I also have a pair of Kings Camo bibs made of a soft shell material that are awesome when it starts to get wet out. There are indeed a lot of good choices out there, but I'm happy enough with my pants that the only thing that would get me to replace them would be a pair of either with a full length leg zipper, to make getting out of them easier when the day warms up.

Coyotes don't care what your wearing. Something warm in the cold months and something cool in the warm months.
They don't even care if it's the latest and greatest camo pattern. Army surplus is a great place to shop.

I really like the Kuiu Attack pants. Breathable, comfy, hip zips are nice when it's warm, somewhat water resistant, quiet, good pockets, seem pretty durable, lightweight, layer insulation underneath as needed. Spendy though.

I'm a huge fan of Sitka. It's rather spendy though. I always told myself no way I'm drinking that koolaid. Well after drinking it I sold all my other stuff and bought a bunch more Sitka!

I buy the First Lite, Sitka, Kryptek, or Kuiu stuff but not at full price. I buy most on close-out sales, off Camofire, used on forums or Ebay, wherever I can get it at a reasonable price, My camo never matches but critters never care. For colder weather KS predator hunting I like a pair of Cabelas MT050 bibs in the Outfitter camo unless it's really still. If it's really still and I'm trying to be as quiet as possible walking in the wool First Lite Obsidian pants are very very quiet against brush. They are not super durable against thorns, so I don't wear them unless I feel like I need to.

It's spendy but quality, but I have a pair of Sitka Celcius bibs I've been wearing on the ranch during cold weather for 10 years now that are still in great shape. The stuff is tougher than the Carhardt stuff I replaced and far more comfortable. I have Sitka pants that I've abused that are as old. I think the only outer layers from those companies I've worn out are due to zipper failures.

Medium Grey Fleece Lined Wranglers from Walmart for $25. I tuck them in my boots so the warm air stays trapped. Best hunting pants I've ever used. Since I'm always sitting when Im calling, I figured a camo pattern doesn't matter. So far it hasn't been a hindrance.

If you are looking for a great pair of warm pants, these are awesome. I got them on sale under $50 and they are awesome. Put a base layer underneath, and these babies will keep you warm. pants

I didn't really have the budget for Kuiu or Sitka so I went with the new UA Browtine pants. They are somewhat insulated and super quiet. Very important to me since I will use them as Spot and Stalk archery pants.

I wore them on the weekend on a coyote stand. Sat in the snow for 25 minutes at -2 Celcius and never got cold or wet. I wouldn't consider them super waterproof though.
