Red Desert Wyoming...

I drew an antelope tag for south of Rock Springs. I plan on taking my 22-250AI with me, in case of coyotes. Wondering if anyone knew if there are a lot of yotes in this area?

And, do I need a license?

No license needed but I dont know that area. I am sure you will find coyotes there.

the coyotes got hammered last year with all the snow. there was a ton of people killing dogs on snow machines.

Is there good Coyote hunting in Red Desert still. I am down in Northern Colorado and was thinking of taking a trip up there to camp and call.

It wouldn't be my first choice. There are coyotes there but also a bunch of traffic due to oil and gas production.

Lots of coyotes south of Rawlins at least there used to be.

Like songdog said- They have been hunted pretty hard in the south. Might have better luck further north.
