Red Dot Sight to mount on 11-87 Super Mag

I am in the process on setting up my 11-87 SuperMag for coyote hunting,and want to mount a red dot sight on it. How do they work for night hunting? I have already mounted a rail on the gun,just undecided what to get. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks Tom

I was going to get one, but found out that I have a astigmatism which makes the dot look blurry.

It didn’t matter if it was an EOTECH, speedbead or a cheap red dot, the results were the same for me so electronic dots, etc were out.

Anyway, spent alot of time and money on scopes, illuminated and non-illuminated, etc for my shotgun, because I couldn't see the bead in the dark and I didn't want to light up the barrel.

Long story short, I went with the tritium sights. It didn't add any weight to the gun, I have no problem seeing it (not blurry), no batteries, works great in low light or total darkness and it cost around $60.
