1st stand we killed this male red. He came in to our 6 o'clock to Eastern Cottontail but I think he saw us and started away. I switched to Platinum Grey and he came back and circled around. I squeaked and stopped him at about 60 yds, DRT. If you can tell from the photo he had bad mange.
3rd stand this bobcat came in to Eastern Cottontail but hung up at about 225 yds. I switched to Vole Squeaks but she just sat there looking at us. She started to leave but angled towards us a little. I stopped her at 175 yds, DRT. 20.75 female.
Disregard the raccoon, we don't normally shoot them but this one charged in and attacked the call. She should not have done that.

Way to go Mike! Looks like that red definitely had a bad case of mange. I don’t pass at the opportunity on coons anymore. If I see them close by when calling at the end of a dry stand I’ll see if I can get them to peek out or charge on in. Way too many around here nowadays. Very nice bobcat. You all are having a good season.

Congrats on a fine night. That's a good size female bobcat for our neck of the woods. Bet she had some age on her.
