Red fox

Finally got my first Montana red fox last night. Frontal shot at 100 yds or so, needless to say the 204 was not kind. This was the good side.

Congrats on the fox. I know myself how rough a 204 can be on fox. Especially reds. Grays seemed to hold up just a tad better, but not by much. What bullet are you using? 35 gr Berger and frontal shots produced the least damage when I was still targeting fox.

Running 32 v-max a little over 3800. Was using 40’s but the 32’s give better groups for me. Don’t see a lot of difference between the two on coyotes for me. Most shots under 200.
