Redhawk 454 project

I've been wanting to do a Bowen custom GP454 where he takes a Ruger Alaskan and cuts off the barrel extension and installs a Redhawk barrel, instead I picked up a few Ruger parts awhile back, one a 454 Casull cylinder from a Super Redhawk and replaced the cylinder in one of my 45 Colt Redhawks with it and came up with this

Have some 335gr LFN's loaded up just waiting for a chance to get to the range

Wonder what the weight difference is in the two guns
Toklat looks heavier ???????
Says Toklat is 47 oz.
Thx

Ruger lists their .44 standard Redhawk 5.5" barrel at 49 oz. and the Toklat is 47 oz.

I don't think so 45 colt Redhawk I bought years ago $500 + $125 for Super Redhawk cylinder + about $12 for special screwdriver tip to disassemble ejector rod and 15 min of my time = 454 Redhawk .
The whole idea behind this is I just don't like the looks of the Super, I do like the action better than the single spring on the Redhawk which has it's own set of problems.
Ultimately I would like to have a GP 454 but for about $137 over what this Redhawk cost me it will do
