I would like to get a discussion going on how you guys reload your 3" shotgun heavy loads. It has been a long time since I have reloaded 3" shells(close to 20 years). So I am sure there are alot of improvements that I do not know about. I just ordered a few specialty reloading manuals, but it will be a week before they get here. Are you guys roll crimping, or 6 star?? If roll, then are you using a shot column wad?? Are you gluing it?? Just looking to start a conversation.
I used up the last of my heavy loads. I was going to order some factory rounds, until I saw the ridiculous prices of new shotgun ammo. So I dug out my old RCBS 12 Relaoding dies for my single stage press. And once I get some more 3" hulls I am going to get to it. I could use some 3" hulls if anybody has any they want to sell. Need to buy some wads also. Oh well, sounds like fun to me. Tom.
