Here's my bench. I just changed the powder measures to be hung instead of bolted to the bench.

I use steel braces and put the powder scales and measures up at eye level. This also opens lots of room on the bench. All my shell holders and trimmers and auto-prime shell holders go on brackets that are attached to the powder measure stands. It keeps them handy and out of the way.

I use an epoxy floor and deck enamel on the bench, it makes it easy to see stuff.

Each press gets a hunk of steel under it. That takes most of the flex out of the picture.

Hope that give you some ideas.

Very nice bench. I have started working on one myself. I will let everyone know how it goes if it turns out nice.

Hey Raidman, that is a beautiful layout. However, it is way too clean...I mean spotless. Your basic slob, such as I am, would never be comfortable in that environment. There is nothing to fall over, you can probably locate things almost immediately and when you drop something on the floor you can find it.

I would never survive!

Man, after seeing all the neat and clean setups, there is no way you get to see mine. I have so much stuff I could never organize it that well. Raidmans has everthing where you can get at it except the Beer Fridge. A nice metalic loading setup but who does your shotshells????

Raidman,

Do you eat off that floor or what?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Either thats all brand new or you get the guiness record for clean garages! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

SWEET!!

These reloading bench threads really depress me.

I mean how do you guys do it - I haven't even SEEN the top of my reloading bench in years - I can't remember if it's plywood or Masonite.

You guys shouldn't post pictures like that!! I mean common guys, how about some loyalty to fellow reloaders.

I mean if the "other half" saw these threads, the first thing I would hear is, "Why can't YOOOUR reloading "stuff" look nice like those nice men's loading rooms - why does OUR basement look like the town dump".

I mean who needs to eat off the floor of a loading room??

OK, OK... so sometimes you drop a tuna fish or peanut butter sandwich... but the ten second rule applies, right?? And a little nitrocellulose and primer residue never hurt anyone anyway, right??

And look at all that unused wall space you guys got - that's missing shelves that aren't full of good stuff!!

I'm gonna sulk off to the gun shop and buy some more powder and primers to appease my guilt!!

Well... I wouldn't go THAT far. I might be a little messy, but the "S" word is kinda strong.

And remember... he who dies with the most loading stuff wins, and I guarantee you that I will win (even if I die tripping over it today) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But that won't even begin to make a dent in it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Here's my bench, you can't see the shelving units with components and loaded ammunition, and the additional bench behind the camera.

Here's my loading bench.
I just purcased some lumber today to start building mine. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks I'll have it looking a bit better than the chop saw table I'm using now.
