I let my bench pile up a little when I retired after the first of the year dragging stuff home from work but no I work real hard at keeping clean and organized. That is about the only thing in my life that is organized.NICE, but be honest, now, you just cleaned that bench up for the picture, didn't you.
Like all my clothing, I've outgrown my loading room but have to admit I could do a better job of cleaning off the bench.
Just don’t open cabinet doors!
That's why I don't have any cabinets. Wish mine was that neat. Used to be but the older I get the sloppier it seems. I do clean off work space before actually reloading for safety reasons; it just seems to be a catchall & doesn't stay that way between loading sessions.

Mine is a work in progress. Moving from Tennessee a lot of my stuff is still in storage and slowly making its way back out. I have 2 benches that are 8' long and a ton of shelving though. And of course ... gotta share part of the shop with the wife's RV. Putting HVAC in here was the best decision I have made.

That's nice! I'd need a GPS to keep from getting lost w/that much room in there.
Thank you! It's 40x40 but gets smaller as stuff goes into it. Like usually happens, we got an initial quote on the building. Then decided on insulation. Then HVAC. Then bought the shelving & benches. And I like adequate lighting so it has $2500 worth of LED lights. Needless to say ......... it went WAY over budget. But we're using it and glad we did it.

I don‘t have AC but I do have a pellet stove for heat and a Port a Cool for a little bit of cooler air.
The best part for me is a bathroom!

Love the Bates Motel signage! It would be brutal in this Texas heat without A/C.
My Uncle worked for Kelly Johnson for years and helped develop the airframe on the SR-71 Blackbird at the Lockheed Skunk Works in California. He gave me this sign for Christmas right before he died and it is on the walk-in door of my shop. I always get a questionable look from people when they see it.
