I have never shot and AR-15, but see that so many predator hunters own one. I like the looks of the new Remington R-15, and in my mind would really like one. Is it something that I should really consider buying, and what are the advantages of owning an AR type rifle as opposed to the standard Laminated Stock type rifle....I would love all of you opinions. Thanks
 
Quicker follow-up shots would be the main advantage of an AR for predator hunting and that can be very useful when more than one critter comes in at the same time!
 
Shoot one and see if you like it. Some don't, many do. They are accurate, handle well and have quick follow up shot capability. I don't own one yet but would like one.
