Remingtion 597 .22 WMR - Yeh or Neh?

I've had my 597 for a few weeks now. I have it set up with a Lightforce 170, a Volquartsen hammer, and a Mueller 3x9 red dot scope. Any of this stuff sound familiar? This set-up has basically been built by the guys in this forum who have given me their opinions on different equipment. I don't quite have it sighted perfectly yet (my lead sled has been at camp, which I picked up yesterday). I will finish sighting in tomorrow hopefully. So far I love it.

Thanks to everyone here for their input, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif and thank you JoeF for the directions on installing the hammer. I couldn't have done it without em. The part about the linkage being in the low position and pulling it up to the normal position happened during my install and the directions were exceptional. I pulled my rifle apart tonight and after the 1st attempt at installing the hammer I thought I was going to have to take it to a gunsmith, till I brought my assembly up to the computer and reviewed your directions./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif

I plan to carry this even for day time hunting at least for awhile. I know there are better calibers for coyotes but it's nice to have rifle like the .22mag to carry while I'm coyote hunting during small game season. I see more grouse and rabbits and such when I'm carrying the .243. With this I might be able to shoot some supper (and have some meat left) when I'm in the woods coyote hunting.
