Remington 597 HMR 30-Round Magazine

Does anyone know if some does or can make a high capacity magazine for a 597 in 17 HMR?

Yikes! You might wanna do a little research concerning your 597 chambered 17hmr. I think I read it's a water/oil kinda thing.

they have a recall on the 597 in 17hmr right now. they are offering $200 vouchers for another remington firearm. you may want to contact them.

I've heard they will rebarrel it to a 22 mag for you.

Now that we are on the subject, how well do the 22 mags in the 597 shoot / perform? What about accuracy, feeding etc?

I saw an ad from a gunsmith on Gunbroker who rebarrels the 597, does trigger work etc. I'm just curious how well it might shoot and if it's worth the money he's asking ($599).

Nobody makes an extended capacity clip for the 597's in 22Mag or 17HMR. If they did I would buy a 597...

my dads got the .22 mag and its preety accurate and hasent had any feeding problems that i know of
