Well, I finally got me a .22-250 this weekend! I have not shot it yet.....just dummy rounds to check the trigger pull.......and it's pretty heavy! I haven't torn into it yet....but I can't remember.....are they adjustable? I was thinking the trigger on a 700 was, but still not sure.

Or, should I just look into getting an aftermarket trigger assembly? There are a lot of companies that make "drop in" triggers for the 700....so maybe this would be the best bet???

Yes the 700 triggers are adjustable and an after market spring kit is available from either Midway or Holland Gunsmithing Services. The kit will get you to around 2 to
2 1/2 #'s. For an after market trigger for the 700's, the Rifle Basix is an excellent choice at a fair price.

I like both my remington triggers one I paid $50 to take it down to a crisp 2lbs and the other I did myself after I looked on the web, and no it is not a hack job. I tested it over and over and over and over ... No deaths yet. I was going to do the aftermarket thing, but my smith said why? The remington trigger is usaually a good trigger.
