Remington 700 long action stock???

Yes, but you'll have to keep in mind barrel contour when switching stocks. Rem mag contour isn't going to fit a mountain rifle contour LA stock.

If you had a bare 700 action, all Rem LA stocks are interchangeable, except DM models. I believe those stocks isn't interchangeable, though I may be wrong. Plz, correct me if I'm wrong.

bigdale, what don't you like about your present stock, how does your rifle shoot?

Reason I ask is I have a couple of "whippy" stocks on a couple of Savages that shoot lights out!. I also have two Remington LTRs with factory-supplied H.S.Precision stocks that don't shoot any better for me than the flexibles. Admit I may be the "limiting" factor.

SuperSeal110 answered your interchangeable question..I'm just curious.

The BDL has the drop-down floor plate so you can dump your rounds out the bottom. The ADL has what they call a "blind box magazine", which means you load and unload it only from the top.
The DM has the detachable box magazine or "clip" as some folks call it.

I just got home to look at it. There is nothing on the bottom of the stock but plastic just like the rest of the stock. So that would be an ADL, correct?

Nothing wrong with an ADL, not having the bottom of the stock cut out makes the stock a bit stiffer and slightly more accurate.
For many years I have been making money converting BDL stocks to ADL for those wanting better accuracy and reselling the BDL hardware to those wanting the bottom dump of the magazine.

Your choice!!
