Remington 700 SPS Tactical?

I have one that i replaced the houge stock for a take off ltr stock. It weighs in at nine pounds with a 4-12x40 AO vari x II scope on it. The finish is not as good as the old blueing but is fine if a fine coat of oil is left on it in storage.

I am worried it will be too heavey but like the idea of a 20" barrel. Anyone know if Remington will be coming out with the model 7 in stainless for shot show?

I have used my 700 SPS Tactical for a few seasons. I carry it slung barrel down when doing longer walks to hunting spots. The 20" barrel is nice and very accurate, it has a Jewel trigger and H.S. Precision M24 kevlar stock. Scope is a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14, 30 mm tube, B&C recticle, side adjust paralex, Leupold one piece mount with matching rings.

Too heavy? nope.

Mine is about a pound heavier than my other rifles so not to much to get used to weight wise. The combination of 20" barrel and 1-9 twist is why I bought mine, and I am pleased over all with it. 69gr Sierras, and 55gr'ers all shoot well.
