ill be getting one of these in the next week or so and was wanting to get everyones opinion on them that has owned one. also pics of your setup with it would be great so i could get some ideas for it.

this is my call gun its a rem 700 22-250 i had some custom work done on it like the new stainless flutted bbl also had the stock beded
and a custom pin and trigger. and a leupold vari-x3 4.5x14 it seems to like alot of diffrent bullets.. it likes 55gr.v-max... 50 gr. bt nosler and the barnes x bullets...i have had the best luck with the 55gr. v-max on yotes it drops them quicker i think... some of the other bullets they seem to go a little farther.. thats just been my experience... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif well i dont know how to add the pic... can someone help me please... i am new here...

The Remington VS 22-250 was my first "varmint" rifle I bought. I got it 2nd hand, and after I finally got the moly out of it.WOW. It shoots great & still does today! Mine shoots 40-55 grain bullets with very good accuracy. I like the HS prec. stock with the alum. bedding block, I can take the gun outta the stock, put it back in, screw it down and be within .25" POI of where it was previously.
The only custom stuff I did to mine was lap the bolt lugs and adjust the trigger. It does have a new crown now.
As I didn't have much $$$ when I got the gun I call it my econo gun.. It's topped off with an older SImmons 6.5-20x44 Mag Target Turret scope. It works great on the groundhogs around here. I really like it!. Sam

got it this time i think

Here is a picture of my .22-250 Remington Sendero custom along with a Coyote I recently killed. The gun has a heavy fluted and ported barrel. Its been blueprinted, trigger job (1.5 lbs) and the Remington extractor on the bolt was replaced with a sako extractor. It is scary accurate when I do my part. The current scope is a 4-16x40 Weaver Target scope that I must say performs rather well on such a low recoil rifle.

I have 700 VS in 22-250 awesome gun. I had the trigger work down to a crisp 3 pounds give or take a few ounces. I also got some had loads worked up. I cant believe how good it shoots. I have a pic of my best group so far but not the rifle yet. If I get a chance to take a pic of the rifle I will post it as for now here is a pic of my best group blown up a little. This is 3 shots at 100 yards. I am shooting Speer 55gr SP's.

nice gun and great shooting--- got one just like it myself and can muster sub 1/4 in moa groups out of it quite often with some reloads. 40 gr v-max mollys with 34 gr 3031... might look into it.

Nice to see somebody else here shoots with the wrong hand. Got a .223 and .308 just like that, and a .22-250 with fluted barrel and palm swell in the tan stock. All will shoot 1/4" groups with the right loads.

I shoot a Rem 700VS in 25.06. It shoots 75gr V-Max moly. This group is .865" center to center, 12 shots, 100yds. DonL

If you want to be really good, besides good loads, get that trigger worked on asap. A nice crisp trigger from 1-3 pounds will make a world of difference. Send it to:
Neil Jones Custom Products 814-763-2769 and you will never be sorry. He will take your springs and throw them away and replace them with the correct springs for whatever pound pull you want. He has reworked every trigger I own on Remington's. The cost is around $50-$55.
