Remington 7615 vs Mini 14

Quote:
My Mini-14s (I own 4) have been more reliable than my AR15s, Garands, SKSs, and even my AKs.

Yeah, I've got two that I bought new and never had any kind of malfunction on either of them. I've had one since 1988 and it's had all kinds of factory and handloads thru it. I keep it clean and lubed, maybe that's the secret? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'd bet most of the malfunctions are magazine related, they turned out some pretty crappy after-market magazines for Mini's over the years.

I was looking for the same type of gun a few months ago. I got (and recommend you do too) the browning shorttrack bar. I bet if you start this thread over and list those three guns you would see a pretty good amount of people leaning towards the bar.

I have both and a few AR's in the mix also, my 7615 will do 1 MOA, my mini's in factory attire wouldn't come close to that. The 7615 won't shoot with a varmint AR, but compares well to a short light barreled model.
