Remington Model 700 BDL 30-06...Whats it worth?

I have just traded a buddy of mine a boat motor for a Remington Model 700 BDL. It has iron sights, high rise scope mounts and a 3.5 x 10 x 40 Tasco High Country scope on it. I am new to rifles, but appears to be in very good condition. What is a gun like this worth? Thanks guys!!

Throw the Trashco scope in the garbage, put medium high rings on it and the scope of your choice. Gun will be worth $450-$500, I have the same gun except I have the detachable magazine on mine, Nikon has some nice scopes from the prostaff on up. Enjoy the gun, it will kill any big game animal in north america, I have also taken a handfull of yotes with mine.

Great!! Thanks guys. I had no need for the motor anymore. I dont have much need for the gun either because i just bought a 243 for yotes. Figured it would be nice to have though.

Mine kicked like a bay mule. I got it from my grandfather, and traded it to my brother for a Wingmaster. Couldnt even stand to sight the thing in.
