I was wondering if anyone here has one?
What do you think of it and
How does it shoot? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
I read that the hornet has a magazine that sticks down below the stock like the CZ but I have not seen any Pic's of one like that yet so I would like to know how it looks. I know I can get a CZ for less but I want to check into all my options before I buy.

Thanks
Lee

I think the CZ is a better buy. Remington wants a lot for those things and the quality is not there for the price. CZ has it for that price.

If I wanted a Mauser inspired action then I'd buy a CZ and avoid the Remington knock-off 799. Otherwise, I'd buy a Tikka. These two are excellent values for the money.

The 799 is a push feed action the CZ is a true controlled round feed action. I've shot the Charles Daly version of this gun and like the CZ better. If your ever in the position of being charged by a bloodthirsty ground squirrel that controlled round feed action won't jam and leave you in a pickle.

The CZ's seem to have a reputation for excellent accuarcy across the board from the 17's thru their 452 22's, 527's and 550's. Probably one of the great bargains in the gun industry today.

CZ 452 22lr.
2 CZ 527's Varmint 204 Ruger

Add to that they come with the single set trigger and it's great. Mine are set at 4 ounces set and 2.5 unset.
