Remington r15 review

Also, what is a good price on one?

If you wanna check 1 out.I am close you could check mine and shoot it if you want.It also has a 3lb Timny trigger in it.

I bought my R15 back in 2010. I had been eyeballing them for about a year but never pulled the trigger so to speak. Cabellas had a sale plus I had a coupon I ended up paying $700 for mine. Glad I waited. If I had bought one a year earlier from Gander Mountain I would have paid full price at $1,250 + tax. It has been a great rifle all these years. Never one misfire FTF or FTE. It goes boom every time and with pretty good accuracy I must say. I’ve since upgraded the trigger to a Calvin Elite 1.5 lb and I really enjoy that crisp lightweight trigger. It also helped improve the accuracy. Just started reloading at the beginning of the pandemic and have loaded Winchester 64 gr. Power Points & those shoot really great at just under 1 MOA. 0.8 -0.9”. I’ve got a 400 yard range set up in one of the hay fields up here on the farm & have a couple bowling pins hanging from an old swing set. I can regularly hit those if the wind isn’t too bad. I have a hay bail set up so I can put cardboard targets up and shoot groups testing for bullet drop and wind drift. Just recently I found a hand load of Ramshot TAC & a Sierra 69 HPBT which produced a 0.38” 5-shot group. I have a 100 yard range right in my yard. I can’t wait to test that load at the 400 yard range down the road. Coyotes beware!!!
