I got lucky an stumbled on a sendero gen 1
7mm Rem Mag that was doing duty since it
was new as a deer rifle. Very low round count
and looks like new. Guy wanted to get a lighter
weight 300 WSM so I helped him with that.
Can’t wait to get a scope mounted and go shoot
it a bit. Excited to see what I bought, I never
had one of these but I love the first gen VSSF’s
and Sendero’s I am hopefull it will be super accurate
like the others I have got to shoot over the years.

My sendero 7mm is very accurate. 1 hole 5 shot groups at 200. I have taken it out to 1600 yards! 70.5 grains of retumbo and a 168 old is deadly!

Mines a 25-06. Its new and still in the breaking in stages and finding a good load for it. I replaced the trigger the first week I had it with a Rifle Basix. I tried working the factory trigger over but it seemed a waste of time. One load works real good but some of the others are just so so. But its new so it may take some range time.

The original Senderos are great rifles. I have a stainless fluted 7mmSTW and a rebarreled 25-06 to 6mm06. They shoot great.

A hunting buddy has the 7 mag and it shoots nice. Good score for you.
I've got one in22-250 form the late 90s that's ported , I don't see many of those.
Just bought one in .223 off armslist two weeks ago and I'm stoked!
Enjoy.

I’ve had several Remington 700 sendero Rifles and all of them shot amazing. I like the older senderos without the palm swell on the stock. I believe all of them new and old had an HS Precision stock.
