Was that with factory ammo or did you do any load development? I'm curious, because I was considering one for myself too.

Send 5 to me me and 5 to Cat. When each of us are done we can swap them out and see if there's more to be done to them. I can't speak for Cat, but I won't even charge you until I'm done with all 10, so other than shipping it will be a long while before it costs you anything. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Be sure to send along any reloading stuff you have for each rifle too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That's fair - I'll do it with you..

I’m so overcome with emotion that you 2 would make all these great sacrifices for me. Cat I said it before and I say again, your kindness, gentleness and wisdom knows no bounds.

It was one box of factory... and about 500 rounds of handloads. Groups ran from 3/4" to 1-1/4". Once in a while, I would get a small group, and when I tried again, it was clear that it was a statistical fluke.

The throat is so long on the Rems, that you can't find it, much less load to touch.

I plan to re-barrel to .20 Tactical (20-.223 Imp), with a 10" twist, because I'm not impressed with the quality (or lack thereof) of the factory .204 brass - it is all poor.
