Remove Suppresors as an NFA Regulated Item/ Take Away the 200 Tax on SBR'S: Please Sign

Done, absolutely no reason suppressors should be considered NFA items. I almost hesitated signing it because there's more of a chance for the administration to target NFA items after seeing this than there is of them reducing the restrictions.
 
Fortunately, our government is not run by petition. If it were, we would be over run by the liberals even more than we are now. The government pays no attention to these things, so it appears that they are just a waste of time and effort. Save your efforts for the ballot box.
 
The ballot box run by an electoral college? The one that negates your vote if you're not in the majority of your state?

Or the one where you vote for a representative that is then controlled by corporations and high dollar entities?

The lowest paid intern, has an assistant, who has a nephew who is 12. The nephew has a dog. The dog is the one that reads and responds to online petitions. The nephew is in charge of written petitions themselves.

It started needing what, 25k 'signatures' for a 'response'? Now it's 100k needed for the dog to hit the keyboard and tell you exactly nothing. If you read the existing responses, excluding the bad spelling normally found, they read like a craigslist scam.

Thank you for your interest in (insert keyword here). We would like you to know we take (insert keyword here) very seriously. After that it's just blah blah blah.
 
BTW you should use a fake email address, or something from a friend you want spammed with junk..

I agree with wanting to make this change, but as we were taught in Civic's classes, The House has to start this process. It could start in the Senate, but that is like pulling teeth. There is no reason to treat a muffler like a machine gun.

After the election, we would do well to try and get all of the hunting groups to send emails, and call our Congressmen to start, sponsor, and co-sponsor a bill to get this done.
100 congressmen getting pressure from all of the hunting groups, would make it more likely to get traction, but the President won't sign it anyways. It would have to be slipped into a spending bill, like the DOD appropriations bill or something.

what we need is someone in congress to actually write up a bill to do this.

this petition, while well intentioned, isn't going to do anything.

You don't really believe that our gun laws are made with reason, do you??

What is the reason to ban firearms with a pistol grip?

What is the reason to ban firearms with heat shields on the barrel.

They have no interest in making anything related to firearms easier to get - they want to put laser serial numbers on bullets - they want you to store your firearms at the local police station, and then they want you to give them up all together.

That petition will go no where, and might make things worse.

Sometimes, it is best to let sleeping dogs lie, especially with this administration.
