Removing a stuck Shotgun choke

Another trick is to heat the seized part then submerge in ice water the sudden change will break it loose lots of time.In this case I don't know if you can get it hot enough without damage to paint.

I to had a stuck choke at one time, and tried soaking the end of the barrel in WD-40 over night then put it in a vice wraped in a towel. Then with a small pipe on the choke wrench tried to turn with no luck(should of used the water trick too?! So while at the local gun store one day I asked him and he smiled and showed me shocket that fit the choke tube. He said with the socket and an impact wrench they came out every time. I never got the chance to give him barrel. A couple of weeks later while duck hunting I blew the end barrel up just like Elmer Fudd with a stuck wad from a bad shell. I don't recomend it, but let me just say my method worked like a charm, but I never did find the stuck choke tube. Good luck with yours.

Clamp your barrel in a vise, put your choke wrench on, give it a few sharp taps with a hammer while applying pressure by hand to the wrench. Should free it right up.
