What would you put in for replacement trigger single stage or two stage? Mainly used for hunting and plinking.Never shot a two stage that im aware of.Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks Crowgetter.

My favorite trigger is the Geissele SSA-E. I have had a couple Timneys and are good single stage triggers, but always have favored the SSA-E.

Type of rifle??

Guessing an AR as its in the AR section, duh.

I second Geiselle, though I like the High Speed NM Match Rifle for its adjustability.

I'm going to triple the SSA-E. I own the SSA, SSA-E, and Match, along with a 3lb Timney. For all around use, the SSA-E wins. The Geissele Match is definitely the nicest, but for a do-all trigger, the SSA-E wins.

In a hunting or fast shooting situation, you don't even notice the two stages. All you feel is a 3-3.5lb trigger pull. When you're target shooting, the 2 stage really shines. You take up the slack (first stage) and then you basically have a hair trigger at 1.5lbs or so. Hard to beat that.

I like Timney's but the best trigger for the money is a JARD. Buy changing a $6 coil spring it goes from 1.5# to 6# pull. Hammer fall stays the same. So I can shoot Silver State and Lake City ammo.

Yeah sorry,Mossberg MMR rifle really nice gun just bad trigger been looking at rock river two stage national match trigger but unsure about getting a two stage.

These are very nice triggers and the price is just as nice too.

Thanks for the link 5-speed been wondering about the reduced power springs, been reading your posts about your mmrs and found one reasonably priced close to home and bought it.Like everything but the trigger! Thanks Crowgetter.

Geissele hands down! Good suggestions on the SSA-E, but I prefer the 3 gun trigger. It's a kind of cross between a single stage and a 2 stage so is a good all around alternative

Never shot a Geissele but they have a good following. All my ar's have RRA NM2 and I really like them. Acouple have the power reducing springs in them.

I've ran RRA NM triggers in all of mine. Can't say enough good about them. I've ran them in 3 gun comps, and they are safe for hunting. With that said, I have a new Geissele super 3G sitting on my bench waiting to go into my new build, can't wait to try it out. But for the money, a guy can't go wrong with the RR trigger.
