Rifle Basix Triggers..??

I have 2 of the rifle basix triggers. They are both very nice triggers. I have one of them on a remington 700 and another on a marlin .17. No creep, and crisp. I even like them a little better than the timney.

Just put one in a Savage 17HMR last week and although the gun is shooting well I still have a little creep. The sear was finicky to adjust and very small adjustments are noticeable. I'll go back at it later to get all the creep out but for now I just want to shoot the gun some more. There is a lot of information at rimfirecentral.com on these triggers. Ryan

Sorry for the delay. Changed shifts at work. The trigger wouldn't adjust down to anywhere near 2 pounds. I called Bob at Rifle Basix. He was not very pleasant to deal with, and basically told me I was full of crap. He said that I didn't know what I was doing and that there is no way that anything could be wrong with his trigger. He was very rude. My gunsmith and I both had the same problems with 2 different triggers. We reworked them to finally at least get them to work. After all that I heard that Rifle Basix had put out some bad triggers. Bob finally acknowledged that I guess. The way he treated my gunsmith and me I will never buy another one.

I have one in a savage 110. I had a proble with the 1st trigger, they shipped me out a 2nd with no problems and were pleasant to deal with.

I have one on a Remington 221 Fireball Classic and it is adjusted down to 8 ounces with no problems at all,I feel that for the money they are the best you can buy.You can buy a Jewell for 200.00 dollars but there is no guarantee that it is going to be perfect,All manufacturers have a bad one once in a while it doesn't mean that there whole product line is junk.

Afew years back Basix trigger was placing ad's all over on there triggers so I order acouple a reasonable amount of time passed no trigger called got run around. He went out of business saw that he came back. Those were my only dealing with him and will be the only one. I was covered on the credit card.
I've never had a problem with a Jewell trigger or Hart. Lost a spring on a Shilen called and they send me a new one no charge I offer to pay them. I just got back 3 700 triggers that I send to Neil Jones for his special touch. Jard make a pretty good trigger will sell the whole trigger or parts to do yourself. Too many other options for me than to trust Basix again.

Apparently, he is bringing out a trigger for the ruger vt, if mine aint up to scratch when i get it, i will be having one. I have one on my remmy 700 and its great.

Got a Rifle Basix for my Marlin 882SSV.

Dropped in with little muss and fuss.

Took my time adjusting the creep and pull.

Started out conservatively and yet minimal creep and under 1# pull.

I call that success for a first time trigger change by me.

My "deal closer" for dogs is my Canjar (single set) on a 788 Rem (.22-250). That one ran $160 plus with a gunsmith involvment!
