It's not what you think. I'll be working. Will there be any gun shows going on during that time or great gun stores I need to be checking out in the evenings.
When you coming? Not aware of any imediate gun shows, but there are a couple of good gun stores. Charlies on 8908 Menaul Blvd NE, and Ron Petersons on 4418 Central SE.
Charlies is a litlle pricy sometimes, Ron Petersons has a lot of selection including some fair priced used stuff.
Have fun in the city different!
You are living just about 6 miles from where I used to live. my Uncle used to own the old Gunshop in Sedillo there at the exit 181 on I-40. OH I miss those days back in the 70's. The shop is the one with the big "Caristo's" sign. JOHN
Thanks dogpopper. I'm looking for a stripped AR lower. Do either of these stores carry anything like that?
And welcome to PM. This is a great place. Like some of the sign you see going into midwest towns. "home to 13,000 great people and a couple of old grumps".
Check Ron Petersons, Charlies dosnt have any thing like that. Ron Petersons has hundreds of guns in aisles. You can pick um and look at what ever without asking a guy without an IQ to hand them to you.
I would love to make it a fun working trip but I will be in meetings all day. We're trying to figure out how to aerially drop wolves all over the west.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I'm kidding. It's a fire meeting. I have to figure out how to control some of these internet flames. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
Sorry, did it again. I'll never learn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
They roll up the streets at night in this town for the gun shops. Charlies or Ron Petersons aren't open at night. The only place I can think of that is open at night is Sportman's Whse - but they won't have the AR you are looking for. They are off I-25 and are open till 8pm. There is a gun-smith with a small shop behind his house that might have what you are looking for but here again is closed at night. You may have heard of him. His name is Roy Bedeaux. He was written up in Outdoor Life because he built an elk rifle for Jim Carmichael. I think he closes around 5pm if you can sneek out early some day. His phone number is 505-344-6277. If he doesn't have it I'll bet he knows who does. Dan
Thanks Dan. I'll give him a call. I bet I could sneak out at least once. Heck, I'm so quiet, no one knows I'm there anyway. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Just don't let any of those boys that live around the Gila know that you're bringing more wolves. There might be a bounty on your head. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Just kidding.
