yeah, they replaced it, but i had to pay shipping back. and i'm thinking i had to pay shipping once again to get the replacement back to me. not 100% sure on that part.
so my time/labor to remove it, box it up and ship it back. then my time/labor to install the replacement.
i know the whole thing left a bad, bad taste in my mouth.
i could of got one local and it would of turned out much cheaper in the long run.
ya.. i have a full OEM suspension set i have to send back thats under warranty. you do have to pay to send back to them, but i dont think they charge to send back to you once they determine it is a warrantied part.
id be super upset if it was just a couple days... thats for [beeep] sure.
the parts i'm sending back have 2 years on them so... i got my $ worth and i'm doing the warranty to have a full set on hand for the next swap.
i amazoned a front prop shaft for my cousin's jeep (i have prime, he doesnt). got a bad one, failed within like 2 weeks. because it was an amazon vendor - no hassle at all, sent me a return label no charge, had the new part within a day.
its also part of why i deal with amazon a lot more than i do places like rock. even if it costs me a few extra greenbacks (within reason anyway)
that customer service is often worth paying a few extra bucks for, not to mention the faster/cheaper shipping (if you're prime already anyway)
