Anyone considering a rifle might want to consider these. Have several AR's including an R-15 with a 18" Black Hole Weaponry 3 poly groove barrel. Wanted another 18" mid length gas system barreled AR for hunting and chose this over their ATH version because of the flutted barrel, the muzzle brake and the handguard. Chose the next shorter TRO handguard. What a shooter! Bought it from Elliot Farro at Farros Lead Farm ( has a web site under Farros Lead Farm ). He makes commercial ammo for RRA and others and I bought a 500 rd. box of 55 gr. psp for $225.00. You can buy the 55 gr. vmax for 245.00/500 ( he makes 9,40,45,.223, .308, .338 lapua, .50)Put a Nikon m-223 4x12 BDC on it from FSA with theit mount and it will shoot 1/2" group at 100 yds. with his ammo off a sandbag rest. Took out the RRA trigger which wasn't bad and dropped in the CMC trigger which breaks cleanly at 3 lbs. Got a good deal on the gun from him also, with some extras thrown in. 2 30 rd mags., newer hogue grip with filled in backstrap, and a gunfighter extended charging handle. Now hardest part is which one do I shoot and which one do my son's get to shoot when they come with me.
