I am a bit reluctant to change much of what I said above. Obviously this is a very sensitive issue to both of us. Let me change gears here a minute.

Over the years, I've looked forward to reading your posts. They are ALWAYS of good quality and I enjoy reading them. You present your views very diplomatically and sincerely. Loco, I appreciate your kind words. I have not taken anything youve said personal. Youve presented your case with upmost respect and I hope Ive done the same. This is a sensitive issue and it took a downward turn. I only tried to put it back into the context where it belongs.

P.S. to your P.S. ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ) I work for my father who owns a business that employees 65, 5 white, 60 hispanic, and approx. 30 of those are currently working on visas'. So these guys are doing it right. I see the problem of immigration daily, through our doors for applications. I had an elderly spanish fella start cleaning piston heads without knowing who he was. Sheeesh, and I had to escort him out. And all he could say was " Me work hard for you". I think thats all he knew because he kept saying it. Resiliant folks I tell ya.
 
Funny how a post like this may be hard to reply too. Being a redneck Mez-kin makes it kinda hard. Only thing, when you guys came across on a boat my family was already here! WE GO BACK FOR GENERATIONS HERE IN TEXAS. Yep, we are the only TRUE TEXANS. Yep, you took our food, our land, our music, our WEMON. But you want the rest of us to go back. Guess what, we are already here. We ARE back where we came from. So many forget that. And guess what, I shoot, reload, hunt, fish, all of 'em. Probably better than most. So heres the other side of the coin boys, and I got a voice too. Watch what you say, I just might be saying it about your family too. Kinda puts a new twist on %^&*(#@ tourist, doesn't it? Its all perspective.
 
This thread has taken a few twists and side roads, but the main point still remains. Illegal entry into the US is against the law! People who break the law are criminals. Having a "politically correct" attitude of acceptance of criminal behaviour won't buy you any favoritism around here. Maybe in Berkely or Boston, but not here. What disgusts me is the fact that I am forced to pay my tax dollars to support and encourage this lawlessness. If they'd fill out the paperwork and come in legally, no problem. But no, they want to sneak in, rip off the system, get what they can, and see how long they can get away with it. Loco, I'm just an honest, hard working, everyday, kind of guy. And I don't have a high level of tolerance for others who aren't. Because, in the long run, as a taxpayer I end up having to support them (either on the welfare roles, or in the slammer). And I see that as a waste of my money. Hell, I can barely support myself, what with 6 kids and 2 ex-wives. :eek:

Ill admit last Friday night while spotlighting, I pulled up to a stand and was just sitting there in my pickup thinking about what makes the earth move, ya know, and I thought to myself, " huh, I wonder if I renewed my hunting license this year?" I reached into my backpocket and pulled out an expired license and thought "son of a gun Im illegal". I did what any self respecting hunter would do. I made a few more stands and called it a night.
