I can't hunt them yet, Mike, but I have had a few on my backyard trailcam over the summer. I haven't personally heard one fire off in several months, but I haven't tried calling. It should pickup soon. Mid August - September is when things get active around here. But for the record... They regularly leave me little presents to let me know they're still around.

Haha! Had a coyote give me fits once while trying to catch her. I caught the male and 3 pups in a weeks time out of only 2 sets.
I knew the female was left and didn’t think she’d be that difficult. That biddy would step everywhere but on the pan and she really made my blood boil when she took a dump dead on the pan of the trap.
She finally got caught after seeing her approach on camera. I left the original set she apparently knew was there and gave it a squirt of her mates urine I’d saved. I set a blind set 3ft away where she liked to circle and that’s what got her!! I got it captured on camera too! They can be cantankerous at times for sure!!

Mike,
I think Bob drove all the way down from upstate New York and left that on your place just to get your goat!

We would curl up a mangy fox, freeze it. Than put it out where a rookie could spot it but wouldn't be able to tell if it was dead. Usually it wouldn't be "sleeping" for the wind correctly. A Frito's bag would work on hunters with no spotting scope. Funny watching someone stalk a chip bag. Super glued a trap dog once, forgot about it until I saw the trapper buddy at the fur buyer. He was complaining about a fox that was dancing on his trap. Told him outside what was up, he actually laughed about it.
